Dump the Incumbents Next Year

http://westernperspective.blogspot.com/

The anti-incumbent sentiment is not the fault of the voters. The elite forced majority of voters to organize by making life unbearable. This is simply the way in which democracies share power.

In California, Senator Boxer is expected to face a stiff challenge. Again, it is not the fault of the voters if she is voted out of office. It is her own fault for supporting such idiotic measures as legalized abortion and socialized medicine a la public option.

Incumbency can bring the advantages of seniority and committee chairmanships to a state. However, when politicians abuse their seniority to make laws that are antagonistic to the common good, it is then time for the voters to act by electing someone who represents their traditional values better. This is the real challenge for 2010.

Ann vs. Meghan

http://westernperspective.blogspot.com/
The latest showdown between Ann Coulter and Meghan McCain illustrates the sad state of American culture.

Meghan's father, the presidential candidate, underwent somewhat of a time warp while held as a POW in Hanoi during the 1960's.  Consequently, he was never subjected to the media propaganda which accustomed millions of Americans to view baby killing as a woman's right to choose.  I personally feel that with the birth of octuplets to a deadbeat mom through in vitro, who already had six children similarly conceived, that the time is now right to rethink the whole notion of choice and reproductive rights within our court system.  This is one area in which Ann and I agree.

On the character issue, Ann was right from the beginning about McCarthy and also about the Clintons.

However, Ann has also taken some extreme positions from her libertarianism which have been dead wrong.  Her libertarian idol Ayn Rand held up a vicious murderer in California as an example of male strength of character.  This kind of ego-centeredness is what caused America to fall for the fraud and swindles of greedy liberals.  It is no coincidence that Octomom's feminist lawyer Gloria Allred has just rewarded her irresponsibility with a new home for her and the kids in a well-to-do suburb of Los Angeles with all expenses paid.  This is after the woman blatantly deprived all of her fourteen children of the parental love which is only possible through conception and birth in the ordinary God-given family way.  A fine example this pro-choice lawyer is for young women.

Ann was also wrong several years ago about the California recall beauty contest in which she favored pro-choice bodybuilder Arnold Schwartzenegger who ended up practically bankrupting the state with his support of billions of dollars in unethical embryonic stem cell research.  At that time Ann called the responsible conservative challenger Tom McClintock a wonk.

So Ann is right about half the time and wrong about half the time.  That's not a bad batting average when compared to her liberal adversaries such as Whoopie, Oprah and Gloria who never hit a home run.

Racism in America

http://westernperspective.blogspot.com/
Racism and abortion both dehumanize persons and reduce them to the level of disposable objects.I remember growing up as a child in Pasadena, California in the spring and summer 1960.  My family had just moved west from Pittsburgh and were living in a rental house in a modest, racially mixed neighborhood.

One hot summer day my brothers and I went to an outing at a local community facility.  We had a wonderful time swimming and playing "tug of war" games across a mud filled pit.  Afterwards  at about 2:30 we all ate free watermelon.  I do not consider eating watermelon as being in anyway racially demeaning. At that same place after the event, I saw and heard an older white boy taunting younger African American boys pertaining to their skin pigmentation comparing it to human waste, which led to a physical altercation.

I am appalled at the uproar over an image depicting watermelons planted on the White House lawn which was sent last week as an attachment to email by the former mayor of a quiet town in Orange County, California.

Los Angeles County has a history of racism going back to its early years after the annexation of California by the United States.  Also in Los Angeles history, there was a long standing practice of sweeping abortion under the rug to protect from paternity lawsuits police officers and government officers who frequented prostitutes.  This resulted in a murder coverup so that the criminal abortionist who murdered a young woman from out of state would not be exposed for the criminal that he was.

We will never end racism in America until we first treat all persons as children of God, and stop treating anyone, including unborn children, as disposable waste or as objects for selfish gratification.
