Even supposing that Joe Jackson was abusive toward Michael Jackson and
others in the family, does this necessarily mean that he is not a good
grandfather today?
It is often the case that people mellow out
as they get older. Sometimes the most severe and demanding parents
become the most loving toward their grandchildren. There should be no
presumptuousness on the part of the court. Let the other grandchildren
testify as to whether Joe is a good grandfather before making a
decision on whether to award custody of Michael's children to Katherine
Jackson.
