Media Distorts Reality in Gates Incident

http://westernperspective.blogspot.com/

Lucia Whalen the emergency 911 caller has accused the media of racial distortion. There is obviously a concerted effort being made by some in the media to make the majority of citizens apologetic for being white. One cable TV commentator, obviously upset by the negative attention Whalen was getting for placing the call, made the observation that "she is not White, she is Portuguese...".

To my recollection, Portugal is in the far western part of the Iberian Peninsula in Europe. Although there were Arabs and Jews who settled there in the Middle Ages, the population is still overwhelmingly European. Both of Lucia's parents were from Portugal, although she was born in the US. Do these pundits now believe that some Europeans or Americans of European descent are no longer white? Is this to help minorities overthrow the racial power structure in America?

Officer James Crowley specifically identifies the person with whom he spoke at the residence who made the 911 call as a "white female" in the incident report. Obviously, the TV commentator has some serious issues with race that she cannot even report accurately what happened.

Then there is Chris Matthews and his black sidekick who were amazed and incredulous that the wiseguy black Harvard Professor "Skip" Gates could have possibly made the statement "ya I'll speak with yo mama outside" and thereby insinuating that Officer Crowley was indeed a racist as Gates accused him of being, and a liar to boot.   I hope they enjoy their beer at the White House.

Is it any wonder that someone who received a college education and job promotions based upon racial characteristics could act like such an idiot?

Anti-Life, Porno Culture a Hard Sell

http://westernperspective.blogspot.com/

The Mousavi supporters are simply expressing sour grapes over the turn of the Iran election. In any election of that magnitude there is bound to be some fraud. Unlike the 2000 US presidential election, the Iran election was not even close.

Of course the US should be speaking out forcefully showing solidarity with the opposition in Iran. Much of this will ring hollow because of the American culture's lack of clearly defined moral standards. Even the Shah's regime had trouble convincing the Iranian people that Westernization was a good thing.

America's role in the world is to bring about peace. This we cannot do when our own nation is being held hostage and Americans are constantly subjected to cultural garbage from within. Before America can reach our goal as peacemaker, we must first deal with the powerful obstructionists at home.
