Palin/Beck America's Dream Team

http://westernperspective.blogspot.com/

Patriotic, loyal Americans can start today to implement a Ten Year Plan. The goal should be to elect pro-life and fiscally responsible Democrats, Republicans or those of other affiliation, both locally and nationally in 2010. This will follow on the heels of the kickoff victories earlier this year. We can then make sure that any health care bill will protect the lives of the unborn and will not be too costly.

Sarah Palin is the clear choice for the Republican Party nominee in 2012. She is a Washington outsider with a record of leadership in Alaska. She will bring diversity of gender to the White House. She is not beholden to special interests.

America is not essentially capitalist, but exceptionalist. The Alaska energy regulation provides for sharing of revenues with Alaska citizens. This is not anti-American but rather promotes the common good. Nowhere in our Constitution does it say that wealthy capitalists should be given special privileges. Sarah Palin stands for American exceptionalism in the proud tradition of Teddy Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan.

Glenn Beck is media savvy. This will boost the ticket by compensating for Palin's weaknesses as exemplified by the Katie Couric interview last year.

Helping People Help Themselves

http://westernperspective.blogspot.com/

Democrats begin with a misconception or flawed premise that diversity in government and in industry is always good. This may derive from flaws within the capitalist economic system.

It does no good to elect or appoint people to run a nation or enterprise based upon their ethnic differences. Individuals of minority status bear the burden of offering something of value to the majority culture. If they have nothing good to offer, they should not be given a free handout. That only results in dependency.

It is the responsibility of the people to secure peace, tranquility and happiness. Government at the local level can always offer assistance for people genuinely trying to help themselves. This is subsidiarity. Simply sending out more welfare checks doesn't solve anything. Federal and state government must therefore be reduced to only handling problems too complex to be handled at the local level.

The reform of health care is a local issue, not state or federal.

Pundits Blast "You Be the Man" at CPAC Convention

http://westernperspective.blogspot.com/
Do only liberal Democrats now have the right to "get down"?

Cable pundits and anchors led by MSNBC's Keith Olbermann mocked Congressional Representative and CPAC moderator Michele Bachman's salutary comments after Michael Steele's address to the convention in DC last week.

Has anyone noticed the liberal trick of portraying sensible patriotic Americans as extremists while at the same time promoting destructive agendas that are off the charts when compared with thousands of years of civilized history?  When was the last time we heard a pundit like Michelle Bernard use some trivial expression in reference of our Secretary of State on a trip overseas, such as the moronic expression "You go girl go!"?  Liberals simply don't get that what they are advocating is total destruction, and is bad for the poor and disadvantaged minorities far more than for the majority.

O'Bummer Economy

http://westernperspective.blogspot.com/
Mistakes always have consequences.

When G.W. Bush first took office and America was already too far in debt, VP Cheney believed that deficits don't matter.  What Bush did after September 11 was to commit America to spending an unlimited amount of money on a war that no one knew what it was about, and no one knew whether or not we could win.

Meanwhile, the Democrats in Congress led by Frank, Dodd and Pelosi, were creating a guaranteed insurance incentive for the financial sector to abandon good lending practices and start making bad loans to put minority and immigrant families in homes that they could not afford to live in, and where their neighbors did not want them to live next door anyway.  They simply do not have the skills to deserve living in upper middle class neighborhoods.  So naturally many of their homes were and are taken away in foreclosure.  The Democrats in Congress basically needed friends because they were so unpopular with ordinary Americans and for good reason.  This is really what redistribution does.

Government trying to stimulate the economy by spending or giving away to create demand is a ploy that simply doesn't work.
