Law is to protect citizens from each other. Nations ultimately lose because of a breach of Divine law.
America's steady decline has been brought about by irreverence. After
WWII, a Bavarian mystic told an America GI that our nation would not
undergo attacks by foreigners, but that we would be brought to our knees
by natural disasters by the end of a century. Since religious prophesy
is only valid for the generation receiving it, the time frame for the
predicted disasters will terminate before 2050. Clearly much of this
prophesy has already been fulfilled. How much more can America take?
Bail is set by courts to insure that a criminal defendant will appear at
trial, not as a way to punish the defendant. Yet our vindictive
television news media berates the Pennsylvania judge who set bail at
$100,000 to be paid by Sandusky if he does not show up, and for not
stepping down as judge because of her past involvement with Sandusky's
Second Mile charity organization. Anyone familiar with this case knows
that Sandusky is not a coward. He will not attempt to flee justice. He
has everything to lose and nothing to gain by failing to show up for
trial, or by violating the judge's order prohibiting contact with
children. Contrary to what the mainstream media puts out, Sandusky
poses no threat of harm to himself or others, and will show up for his
trial next year. There is no reason for the judge to have recused
herself, or to have ordered Sandusky to be held without bail, or to have
set more egregious bail conditions.
It makes little difference whether Sandusky was just horsing around with
a child, or actually sodomized the child in the shower room as stated
by a witness to the grand jury. In most cases, an adult showering naked
with a child is something that America cannot afford to allow. Whether
Sandusky gets life in prison for sodomy or less time in prison on a
lesser charge, life goes on in America. Sandusky will probably not
testify himself. Many of the young men with whom Sandusky associated,
including the shower victims, will say that Sandusky and his
organization did nothing wrong and helped them succeed in life.
