Even if Herman Cain's accusers do not come forward, the mere fact that payments have been made, reportedly $45,000 and $35,000 respectively during the latter part of the 1990's, and the presence of another accuser who did not actually make a claim for sexual harassment, and at least one credible witness to Cain's outrageous behavior coming forward, should generate enough controversy to derail Cain's political prospects. Mitt Romney should take advantage of this golden opportunity to press for an early victory at the Iowa caucuses followed by the New Hampshire Primary to clinch the nomination. The longer this primary season drags on, the better will be Obama's chances to win a second term.
