Romney as Underdog

http://www.westernperspective.blogspot.com/

As it stands now, Mitt Romney is in the best position to come from behind and win the race for the Republican nomination.

Supposing that Michele Bachmann walks away from the Iowa caucuses with the most votes. Romney will win in New Hampshire as he did back in 2008. Rick Perry, the current favorite in the polls, will easily take South Carolina. That will leave essentially a three way race going into Super Tuesday.

Romney has the advantage because like Ronald Reagan in the 1976 campaign, he has already planted seeds from his unsuccessful presidential bid in 2008. Will these seeds bear fruit in 2012 as they did for Reagan in 1980?
