They said that this is America, it can't happen here.
How could a nation go from having a budget surplus and "peace dividend",
being the world's last remaining superpower, to becoming a third rate,
bankrupt, chronically in debt burden on the backs of more prosperous
nations?
Take a look at Europe first. The nations that were on the road to
economic prosperity are now the most heavily in debt requiring massive
bailout subsidies. This is because the EU failed to heed the advice of
Pope John Paul II that they acknowledge their common Christian heritage,
the only glue holding the European nations together, and instead bought
into the lies of materialism. The result is classic European Fascism,
more and more government control and total loss of liberty for the
people.
Any move away from the spiritual authority of the Catholic Church is by
definition retrogressive. In the last several decades, both of the Bush
presidents shrugged off John Paul II's plea and advice to stay out of
wars in Iraq. America is now paying the price for this cavalier,
nonchalant attitude toward war. We are now trillions of dollars in
debt, billions of dollars have been plundered and looted by unscrupulous
capitalists, and our cherished freedoms and liberties are daily reduced
to rubbish.
When will they pay for their crimes?
