Manitowoc on Lake Michigan in Wisconsin is more of a place in an enchanted wonderland like Oz. It is where a piece of debris from Sputnik IV landed in 1963, still commemorated by a ring set in concrete.
It is the hometown of Paige Morgan in "The Prince and Me" motion
picture, story of a small town farm girl who meets a Danish prince
while both are at the University.
You really have to see it to believe it.
