Why Prayer in Public Schools Matters

The secularists in society knew long ago that in order to implement their new world order, it would first be necessary to control the schools.

Prior to 1963, children could say a voluntary prayer in school districts at the discretion of local school boards who acted in loco parentis.  This was an expression of our nation's giving God His due as Creator of the Universe.  Although there were still racial problems stemming from the great injustices of the past, the future looked bright and we had a feeling of hope for better things to come.

Today, prayer is outlawed in public schools by court decree.  There is a pervasive feeling of economic uncertainty and hopeless. Every day we hear more about drug addiction, suicides, murders and other horrible crimes.

The people in government, regardless how intelligent and bright they may be, obviously have no clue as to what they are doing trying to bail out industrial organizations and financial institutions.  Meanwhile, we see our savings and retirement benefits dwindle.  How could our government leaders be expected to act wisely when they were brought up to rely only on themselves and the government, with no thought for the things above?
